Our Marshmallow Challenge...

Today was the first day back for all of us! It was a day full of getting to know each other, learning the ropes of being an Upper Middle and sorting out where all of our books are going to go!

BUT we did get to have an awesome afternoon doing The Marshmallow Challenge! We had 20 minutes to create the tallest tower we possibly could using only dry spaghetti, marshmallows and 5 pieces of cellotape. Boy was it challenging!

Some of us decided to build tall, skinny towers while others made house shaped towers. The winners were Marianne, Eric, Abigail and Kaycee with their 71cm tower!

We learnt some very valuable lessons doing the challenge. We learnt all about working in a group, how to follow instructions, how to problem solve and we also learnt how quickly marshmallows melt in the sun!
